About Billproof

Billing evidence should be complete—and every claim should be checkable.

Billproof is building a document-first record of software spend. The vendor knowledge base is available now; invoice collection and missing-document detection are in early access.

What a verified record means

Each record separates what the vendor documents from what Billproof can actually do today. A billing guide is never presented as a working connector.

01 · SourceOfficial documentation is reviewed first
02 · ScopeCapabilities and limitations are recorded explicitly
03 · RecencyEvery page shows its last verification date

Editorial standards

How the knowledge base is maintained

  • Capability claims are tied to linked vendor documentation.
  • Unknown or plan-dependent behavior is labelled as unknown or partial.
  • Connection status describes working Billproof functionality, not future intent.
  • Portal instructions identify the account role and common retrieval problems.
  • Records are re-checked when a source or vendor workflow changes.

What exists today

A free reference now. Invoice completeness in early access.

Anyone can use the vendor pages and invoice guides without an account. The ingestion product is being developed to accept invoices regardless of payment rail, organize the original evidence, and surface expected documents that never arrived.
