Privacy on the Billproof public website

The public vendor knowledge base does not require an account. This notice covers the website and direct email contact; early-access invoice processing will carry additional product terms before customer data is accepted.

Information received

What the public website may process

  • Basic request data handled by the hosting provider, such as IP address, browser, device, requested page, and timestamp.
  • Contact details and message content you choose to send by email.
  • Aggregate, privacy-oriented website usage data when analytics is enabled.

Do not send unredacted invoices, account credentials, or other sensitive records to the public contact address unless Billproof has provided a designated secure workflow.

Purpose

Why the information is used

  • Operate, secure, and diagnose the website.
  • Respond to corrections, early-access requests, partnerships, and security reports.
  • Understand which public guides and vendor records are useful.
  • Meet legal obligations and prevent misuse.

Service providers

Who processes website information

Billproof uses service providers to host the website, deliver email, and operate analytics. Google Analytics 4 is configured with analytics and advertising storage denied, so it can receive page and event measurements without setting analytics or advertising cookies. Providers process information on Billproof's behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Billproof does not sell public-site visitor information or use third-party advertising pixels.

Retention

How long information is kept

Hosting and security logs are retained according to provider settings. Email is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain the relationship, document a correction, or meet legal obligations. Data may be processed in countries where Billproof's providers operate.

Choices and requests

Access, correction, or deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information Billproof holds about you. To make a request, email hello@billproof.io. Billproof may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Changes

Updates to this notice
