Missing evidence
What to do if an invoice is missing
Confirm the billing account type, selected tenant and scope, invoice date, and role. Free-credit accounts may not generate an invoice; contact Azure billing support when an expected issued invoice is missing.
Troubleshooting
Common retrieval problems
- The user is signed in to the wrong Microsoft Entra tenant.
- The selected role can manage resources but cannot read billing invoices.
- The invoice is not generated yet or the subscription did not exceed included credit.
Reconciliation
Match the invoice to a card or bank charge
- Match the invoice number, billing profile, currency, total, and payment date.
- Use the usage-and-charges file to allocate a single billing-profile charge across subscriptions.
