Step by step
Download the invoice from New Relic
Sign in to the New Relic organization responsible for the purchase.
Open the user menu and choose Manage your plan.
Open Billing and invoices to locate the recent invoice for the required period.
Open the issued invoice and save the available document, or use your browser’s Print > Save as PDF for an accounting copy.
For a partner or marketplace purchase, retrieve the invoice from that seller instead.

Older documents
Where historical invoices are stored
User menu > Manage your plan > Billing and invoices for direct purchases; seller billing portal for third-party purchases.
Missing evidence
What to do if an invoice is missing
Confirm billing permission and who sold the subscription. Request older or missing documents from the New Relic billing/account team, or from the marketplace or partner that issued the charge.
Troubleshooting
Common retrieval problems
- The user has product access but not responsibility for the commercial account.
- The purchase was completed through a partner or marketplace.
- Approximate usage data is mistaken for the final invoice value.
Reconciliation
Match the invoice to a card or bank charge
- Match the New Relic organization, order form, invoice period, currency, and total.
- Use billable-user and ingest usage only to explain the amount after the finalized invoice is identified.
