Missing evidence
What to do if an invoice is missing
Check the next day because Intuit says statements may not appear on the billing date, verify Primary Admin access and the correct company, check the applicable app store for mobile purchases, and contact Intuit for documents outside the visible history window.
Troubleshooting
Common retrieval problems
- A customer sales invoice is confused with Intuit's subscription invoice.
- The statement is checked on the billing date before it is visible.
- An Accountant user tries to download a client-paid subscription document.
- Multiple companies or Intuit accounts hide the relevant subscription.
Reconciliation
Match the invoice to a card or bank charge
- Match invoice number, company ID, payment authorization code, and total.
- Review discounts, prorated product changes, and worker charges before flagging a variance.
- Multiple invoices in one cycle can reflect a newly added product even when each product is charged only once.
