Missing evidence
What to do if an invoice is missing
Confirm the correct workspace and Full Permissions role, check the billing-contact notification, and ask a workspace admin to retrieve the document because Intercom support will not disclose account invoices to unauthorized users.
Troubleshooting
Common retrieval problems
- The billing contact expects the email itself to contain the document.
- The teammate lacks Full Permissions.
- The invoice belongs to another Intercom workspace.
- A refund receipt or offsetting invoice is expected even though Intercom does not issue one in the documented scenarios.
Reconciliation
Match the invoice to a card or bank charge
- Separate fixed subscription charges from additional usage charges.
- Match invoice total, billing period, and workspace before relying on the payment date.
- For refunds, retain the bank-statement refund entry because Intercom documents it as the proof of refund.
